It’s simple. Guess where we are by studying the photograph. Email MEL at bookmobile@hdpl.org with your guess. Those who guess correctly will be notified by email, and can then meet us at one of our stops to pick up their prize!

Last summer at one of our stops, lots of children got to see a bookmobile for the very first time! They browsed through lots of good books, and kids that had their library cards with them got to take items home for 4 weeks! Everyone got one of our fun purple wallets, too.
If you don't yet have a library card, you can get one on the bookmobile! Parents and guardians--just come aboard and show your photo ID and proof of current address, and you and your children can get your new cards on the spot!

I love seeing all the kids lately coming on board after school and getting a book to take home for fun! While I've got plenty of stuff for adults, there's nothing that warms my heart more than watching a child hug their book with a huge smile on their face as they walk down my stairs to take that book home.
(Speaking of my stairs, I also think it's great when the kids watch my "magic" stairs come out and fold back up again.)
