Spring Fever at Silver Springs
It was a beautiful "spring-in-the-desert" day when MEL arrived at Silver Springs Park yesterday. Spring fever reigned in the park with lots of glee and games and high-energy shenanigans by birds, bees and kids alike. But not even spring fever could outshine the irresistable MEL! We opened all MEL's doors and windows and the welcoming sight drew lots of folks to the world's coolest library-on-wheels. We'll be there every other Monday all summer long (except for holidays), so keep on coming - we love company!
Quiet Day at Whitney Ranch

Just wanted to give you all a special invitation to come and visit us. We had 3 very special guests today on MEL... Amelia and Christa came with their mom, but we have room for lots more. High-Energy Day on MEL
Today seemed to be pre-schoolers-with-a-lot-of-questions day on MEL. We were happy to welcome several excited little readers to MEL and introduce them to the picture book treasure in the back. The reading mat got a good workout ("No wrestling!" was heard from some busy moms back there) and lots of little people left with lots of big books. Not even the ferocious winds could keep the troops away today. We love it when we're popular!
