You, Me and MEL
Hi All -
We had a great day at Whitney Ranch with MEL, beginning with a mom who was so happy to meet us because we can help her keep up with her five-year-old son's reading demands. We love that - a little librarian in training! Then we had a visit from our old security guard; actually I should say Ex-security guard - sorry, Mr. B!
Anyway, Whitney is a great MEL stop with lots of enthusiasm from all our regular patrons and newcomers. But we'd like to meet more of you, so come on out and meet me and Ms. Kathy and of course the famous purple MEL. All three of us will be at Whitney Ranch again on June 10. See you there!

And here's Tanner and his mom, Una!
Decisions, decisions!
Natalie and her mother, VickiAll three of these families have been visiting us aboard MEL for almost 2 years! That's what I call Loyal! You really make our day!
Visitors from Afar
Today we had some very special guests aboard MEL. They were here visiting from Thailand, the whole family came aboard and while the Mom was reading to her two young boys (in English and then translated to Thai), the Grandparents, Aunt and Dad browsed our collection. When they departed they all thanked us and complimented us on our beautiful library. Later we had 2 charming young ladies put on a puppet show using their amazing ventriloquist skills. It was a good day at River Mountain Park!
